Project partners
Comenius in Turkey

On 10th September our students Daria Błaszak and Mariusz Idziak together with their teachers: Ms. I.Szudzichowska, Ms.H.Saja and Ms.B.Gorczyńska started their long journey to Turkey in order to participate in another Comenius' meeting. The schedule was very rich and full of assignments. It contained a lot of project meetings at Turkish school. Fortunately, some of them included local dishes prepared by Turkish students' parents'. The all dishes were very tasty and delicious ..yummy. After the presentations at Turkish school we were offered the trip to the Ship Recycling and Petkim Recycling Centre. On 13th September we took part in a trip to Ephesus - ancient city and The House of Virgin Mary. On 14th September we were given the presentation about wind power in Bergama and consequently had an opportunity to visit the Wind Energy Power Plant. Finally we visit the Town Hall and the National Education Directorate. During our whole meeting we had a chance to discuss a lot about current Comenius' issues. Our students had lovely opportunities to talk to their colleagues from foreign cuntries and make friendships. Thanks to this meeting we all could broaden our knowledge and gain new experiences.
















" Project meeting in Grece "
The Project meeting took place in a small Greek town Drama from 26.03.2011 to 31.03. 2011. This time 2 people from our school took part in the meeting ( Irena Szudzichowska- the coordinator and Kajetan Krzewina – 1 year student) There were lots of different activities there. Among them the second part of the contest about recycling. Students prepared posters about recycling. You can see them at the Comenius website www.comenius-handinhand.com.ru and you can vote for the poster you like most. During the visit the atmosphere was nice and very friendly. The participants had the opportunity to visit the island of Tassoss, to see ancient ruins at Filippi, to visit the ecological centre in Paranesti and also to understand how the water power plant works and how one of the biggest dams in Europe looks like. All the guests were also warmly greeted by the authorities of the town, who spoke about youth problems with the students. Teachers and students also planted 80 trees along the local road. It was quite new and interesting experience for everyone. Next meeting will take place in Inowroclaw, Poland.
















" Water - use it wisely "
As a part of the Comenius project in February the subject " Water use it wisely" was worked out. Our students gathered and analized all information relating to the water topic. Furthermore, the poster appealing to water saving was designed and put up on the wall in Comenius room. The students are currently focusing on " Forest - our friend" topic. Moreover, a lot of materials have been gathered in order to present them in Greece. At the end of March one of our student ( Kajetan Krzewina from the I b class) with Ms. Irena Szudzichowska are flying to Greece to take part in the second Comenius meeting.





The students worked out the issue of healthy and unhealthy food and the environmentally friendly packaging . As a result of this activity the exposition "Be careful what you eat" was created and it was on display from 17th to 22nd of December in the school building. Moreover, the students encouraged the inhabitants to develop healthy eating by distributing the leaflets they designed. The next stage of the project will be related to large scale water problems and its wise consumption.













From 24th to 30th of October 2010 both students Sebastian Ratajczak ( from the class lb T4) and Mariusz Idziak ( from the class lib T4), who were the representatives of our school, together with their teachers: Ms.Irena Szudzichowska and Ms.Barbara Gorczyńska, participated in the meeting which was the first part of an international project entitled "hand in hand for the environment protection" and it took place in a beautiful city Oradea located in the North of Romania. All the partners were acquainted with the education system of each particular country thanks to presentations prepared by every school that is involved in this project. Those days all the participants became familiar with task which have been accomplished by the end of 2012. In addition, there were offered trips to the Ecology Center and the District Department of Education in Oradea. The participants visited a nature reserve in the mountains, the thermal center and they did some sightseeing in the city. The students could participate in lessons regarding Romania as country, its history and culture. There was also a great chance for them to taste traditional dishes from each country that is represented in this project. It was successful meeting and no doubts the organizers did their best.























Currently the project all partner schools take part in the collection of waste (plastic, batteries, paper, cans)
